Donna, a proud resident of Taupo since 2001, founded Eventrent in 2009, which started out (like many good businesses) in her garage. With a background in Event Management and extensive experience in the wedding and event industry, she has successfully organized hundreds of weddings and special occasions.
Donna believes that Taupo, with its breathtaking scenery and perfect central location, it’s the ultimate spot for unforgettable celebrations. She and her dedicated team are passionate about delivering top-notch service and products, knowing that each event is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Marquee Operations Manager
Meet Blaine, our Marquee & Warehouse Operations Manager. With an impressive 12 years at Hilton hotels across Australasia, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Since moving to Taupo in 2009, Blaine has fallen in love with the region and all that it offers.
His journey with Eventrent began in 2014, as he was keen to join his wife, Donna, to help grow the business. As the leader of the marquee and operations team, he expertly manages event logistics and operations, all while juggling finances and maintaining our stock range.
Known as the 'Jack of all trades,' Blaine's dedication and versatility shine through in everything he does!
